Here is what is required to install an above ground safe room:

1. 4" thick concrete slab (that has rebar or wire mesh) the foundation to fasten the steel frame
to the foundation of your home.  Most garage pads have this thickness of concrete.
2. For home additions or new construction, we can install in conjunction with
your contractor and turn a closet into a safe room.

3. Patio's usually do not have 4" thick slabs and require concrete work done before
installation can take place.  Have the slab poured 6" over the width and length of
the size safe room you decide to purchase.
(IE 4 feet by 6 feet needs to have concrete 4 feet 6 inch by 6 feet 6 inch)
4.  All that is required to start the purchase process is a signed order contract.
Your safe room will be ready within 4 to 6 weeks for installation unless it is a
custom order.  The contract amount is due at the time of installation.
