Safe Rooms are the most important tool to protect you and your family from severe weather and they can serve in many other ways. Your safe room offers you peace of mind from, tornadoes, intruders and burglars.

Jim Giles' CERTIFIED Safe Rooms LLC is a proud member of the National Storm Shelter Association. Our storm shelter models have been tested to meet and exceed the FEMA 320 standards for safe roms construction. Jim Giles' Safe Room also hired a third party engineering firm to review the engineering concepts and to confirm that standards from FEMA 320 were met or exceeded. EVERY Jim Giles' Safe Room will bear the industry seal from the NSSA to confirm that your shelter is safe to protect you and your family.

The Drop Test

As another test to go above and beyond the FEMA 320 standard, we dropped a Cadillac automobile from over 40 feet in the air onto the Jim Giles' CERTIFIED Safe Room.

The safe room did just fine, but the car did not.
